Ordinary Political contest having extraordinary Verdict for Delhi which also left serious and unanswered questions

I am resuming from where I left my last blog......Voters of Delhi has given their verdict and not only a massive mandate is given but Delhi Vidhansabha is left with no opposion. AAP has passed test of trust and people of Delhi entrusted their faith in it and given distiction to AAP's effort to connect with voters with their leader Arbind Kejriwal.
Although the verdict is crystal clear which is welcome but it raised various unanswered questions which need to be looked in new light and from different angle.
 Firstly it is a hard slap to every political parties which ignore the real problem at ground level in hide of statics etc. which has least affect on life of common man.
 It also raises a firm question before political parties that they shouldn't take concern of people for granted about their basic issues.
 It also raises question that people are not ready to wait anymore and want Government not only to show political will but want it to deliver as quickly as possible....gone are the days when people used to wait for 5 years to perform political promises , now people want answers, performances and evaluate same before casting their votes.
 It also raises question that if Government take credit of its good efforts , it should condemn every wrong doer from one's own party or other irrespective of any smell of political profit in it.
 It further raises question at one hand it cause to form weakest opposition at Delhi and on other hand it gives breath of hope to already weak opposition at center and nationwide.
 It further raise question that whether candidates personal character be ignored in front of larger picture or frame in that case honest face be discouraged to enter into politics who are generally not get welcome by existing parties.
................ Their are many questions which answer does lie in lap of time and we will discuss that at relevant time.

From Extraordinary Political probabilities in 2013 to Ordinay but interesting contest in 2015: Delhi Assembly Election

Delhi is facing two consecutive Assembly Elections hardly within a gap of one year and at the heavy cost to the pocket of taxpayers due to scatterd mandate given by Voters of Delhi but it was due to lack of clarity in mindset of voters who had to chose between an established party having past reputation and experience and Party which claimed to be Party with a change and we Indians by nature are beliverer of HOPE, voted in the believe of hope for change in Politics and result is election at interval of an year. At that time people were receptive of idea of a new party with change which was born out of Lokpal movement and believed in stand to consider Politics as natural growth after civil movements although the leader of janlokpal movement was not agreeable to this decision. Kejriwal was crusader and people taken him as Hero of new kind of politics. Inspite of election Survey, positive appreciation and healthy discussion about a party which was taken birth in front of Delhites who were involved majorly in janlokpal Andolan sincerely and was in mood to give them a chance and ready to take up mistakes of new party although nobody even AAP was so confident of majority numbers but due to Delhi voter's faith in hope of a change in politics , AAP was in position to form Govt. ......and formed Govt. after taking enough time to think. Nobody can guarantee everything at first place because administrative reforms takes time to come at  ground level correction but AAP being inspired by Bollywood movie wanted to do it immediately to prove itself relevant for political revolution in country or for higher political aspirations and started doing things for camera to remain popular and relevant and even started misusing their strenght i.e. dharna at cost of administrative duties .......but this approach of AAP caused people of Delhi got irritated. This irritation was ignited by reflection of arrogance by AAP's subsequent decision to keep supporting unwarranted attitude of its ministers but things was not gone out of hand before it decided to resign by taking excuse of janlokpal in political aspiration of Kejriwal being center stage of central politic but this was deathblow and fate of AAP in loksabha election (not a single seat out of 7 loksabha seats of Delhi )is known to all. But thereafter AAP took a stretagic U-turn and in spite of participating in assembly elections of Maharashtra, Haryana, J& K and Jharkhand , it concentrated its energy at Delhi although by this time reputation of AAP from Party with change is transformed to Party who is as clever as others and ready to play with every possible rule of game like other parties including giving tickets to tainted candidates on the basis of winnability quotient, caused it to come in game and able to give close fight to BJP. Now this time AAP has neighter privilege of being new and innocent Party to cruel political game nor tag of party with a change but still able to be favorate of many. Therefore its interesting to watch this contest where BJP also has as effective persona like kiran Bedi who is honest face and administrator but lack in clever political attitude but have backing of goodwill of Modi Govt. and Kejriwal whose blunders cannot be ignored now but who is quick lerner of tool and tactics of political cleverness and has promises in Pandora's box.

Whatever be the situation Voters of Delhi has to be wise and vote for stable Government by giving  clear mandate .

Political Ideologies or Political Profitability

There is a convenient phrase among political circle that there is no permanent friendship or enemity in Politics. However, it is not easily digestible among common men in India who corelate politics with its prominent faces over pure ideology. Generally,  there are two faces of political coin which are inter dependent i.e. political ideology and face of political parties. In India, identity of political Parties have mostly identified by its prominent face who ironically hails from  an individual or family of particular individual. No party is untouched of this practice with hardly an exception. People see Congress in Gandhi Family, SP in Mulayam and his clan, BSP in Mayawati, Trinmul in Mamta Banerjee, AIDMK in Jailalita, DMK in Karunanidhi and his clan, RJD in Laloo Pd. Yadav, BJD in Patnayak , NCP in Sharad Pawar and his clan, LJP in Ram Vilas Paswan and his clan, TDP in Chandrababu Naidu etc. However, there are hardly exceptions like CPM-CPI, BJP etc which can be counted on fingertips where Party is not at command of one indivual or clan.
When a party is being run on command of one individual or his family, political ideologies of party left behind and be kept at the back foot. So, when people see these parties to break their political differences and embrace each other like inseperable siblings, they understand that political parties in India works on principle of political necessity than political ideologies.
In recent times alliance of RJD and JDU in Bihar seems not mere indication of political necessities of both parties but threat  of poitical crisis of both parties  due to recent out come of last lokabha election. This situation not only verify the same political phrase but goes a step ahead. In Bihar Nitish Kumar established JDU (Santa Party) to counter Lalu and came into power after ridiculing his regime as Jungle Raj and defeating him in Bihar but now conveniently forgets his bitter criticism against RJD but they are showing that they are inseparable and in hand and glove to counter BJP to protect suecularism. However, in Bihar this alliance which is termed as super-aliance is bit undigestable among very understanding public who have witnesed progress of Bihar during regim of RJD. At present people of Bihar have no excitment about this super-aliance rather have curiosity to know fate of this alliance.
Anyway whatever be the fate of this super-alliance , it once again established changabe ideologies of political parties by so called democratic head of politics parties which hardly getting affected by respect and faith in ideologies andvfinaly proved that there I no permanent enemity friendship in politics even at the cot of ideologies and political morality. 

A fearsome threat and apprehension due to Koshi in Bihar

Bihar and its residents are once again under fearsome threat due to blockage of koshi river upside area of Nepal which resulted into formation of an artificial lake containing more han 30 lakh cussec water which is enough to create havoc in various parts of Bihar. Although this situation could not be completely forseen and avoided at this stage exept displacing people from their home to safe places and be ready to face post damage rescue and relief perations. here it is pertinent to mention that administration of last 50 years miserably failed to find any permanant solution of sorrow of Bihar i.e. Koshi...Nation has witnessed koshi flood in 2008 in Bihar but we took no lession and again at same stage where we have hardly much to do than to wait for flood and ready for worst . Koshi and its flood is not a recent phenomena in Bihar but it has always been worst dream for Bihar and the same was reported by BBC once admitting the highest probability of danger due to koshi to Bihar but even after four decades neither center nor state have been serious enough to  try and find a solution and even no serious doalog was initiated with Nepal in this regard. Although koshi is equally a problem for Nepal as well as Bihar.

Few years back Indian Prime Minister Mr. A.B. Bajpeyee came with wonderful plan to connect rivers all across India to solve problem of Flood and Drought but it was not processed by his successors and result is Bihar is once again at the mercy of God. At present no body knows intensity flood resulting damage which is mostlly affected in nine Districts of Bihar i.e. Supaul, Purnia, Madhepura, Khagaria, Bhagalpur,Darbhanga, saharsa, Araria and Madhubani. Currently every one is worried and apprehended about the situation but can't access its gravity. We may have experts or rescue team working day and night in order to minimize the damage but everything in inside heart of Koshi that how she will react when set free with more than 30 lakh cussec water as Koshi is known to change it path like what hapened in 2008.

Currently administration is going step by step but nobody knows what would be the magnitute of strength and force of river. By the time I post this blog, many of places might be affected due to flood. But one thing is sure that administration forget these phenomenon quicker than people affected. No body really try to understand the sorrow of displaced people who have to leave everything and have to live is camp. Fate of People of Bihar is once again in hands of God and politicians very soon shall be engaged in blame-game politics, concern officials will engage in shifting burden and passing of files but nobody think of actual problem to solve the same from the very root. Till the time People of Bihar are left as per mercy of KOSHI and has no other option than to pray. I pray that the leader of Government shall think of permanant slution of  regular threat and damage due to Koshi.

An Open letter to Mr. Arvind Kejriwal

Mr. Kejriwal is a wise man and now being appreciated even by his rivals also but he should re-think to his "Not to get and give support" approach and should also appreciate and understand that number of seats received by people's mandate being first timer was not for playing opposition but to take a mature stand in order to fulfill his promises as keeping himself aside and aloof, at this juncture this attitude of him and his newly formed party may be misconstrued as rigidness and at certain extent rudeness. You must remember when you talk about society, you have to take everyone along with or atleast try to do it. It is pertinent to mention that if you are afraid to get into association with other with different ideologies, it can be understood but if you want clear majority to run Government which seems very difficult even at the risk of re-election, you may be held for being selfish.  Because, People who have chosen BJP and given 32 seats are equally right at their place like people who have chosen and given 28 seats to you. How can you distinguish these two sets of people. Is your decision leading to re-election would only burden people of Delhi who have not chosen you or people who chose you also as their last hope. Its time to think and act , Today you are being looked by future and this is a time which can cause you to make unforgettable history or leave you as a forgettable history. Its better to 'live it at present' and try to do best for better future than 'leaving present' for better future.  Choice is yours !!!!  

Indian Politics through Legislative Assembly Polls, Dec.2013

.........And the mandate of people’s faith with respect to  Assembly polls of four states are clear. Although it comes with answers of many questions but still there is unsolved questions left. First three states which undergone through election before Delhi has given laugh on face of Bharatiya Janta Party(BJP) and they have all the reason to do so as they won and able to get a new state in their side with leadership of Experienced Chief Minisarial candidate i.e Vasundhara Raje Shindhiya. We can debate over the efforts of Mrs. Schindhiya vis a vis Role of Narendra Modi vis a vis efforts of BJP ground workers and its cadre or their joint efforts in this huge win over Ruling Congress (Gahlote) but here a joint anti incumbency factor cannot be ignored which in trems of people’s rage against the ruling party at centre as well as state was most crucial and even was deciding factor which caused to stop congress to minimum possible seats. Here, it cannot be ignored that development works of Gahlot Government (that itself in question as it is alleged that Gahlot led Congress Government was sleeping in first three years and worked or tried to work in wake of election) got diluted in the rage of people in view of nation wide problem of price rise connected with corruption, against the central Government. Although BJP takes it result of semi final and ready to maintain this spirit for the final test of Loksabha election next year.

As far as Madhya Pradesh and Chhatishgarh are concerned , BJP able to retain their government with good Governance of Shiv Raj Singh Chauhan and Dr. Raman Singh respectively. Here, Even Modi’s role cannot be ignored as people voted with view of strengthening BJP at state and at centre next year with Modi. Here, we should appreciate these both C.Ms. of BJP who happen to be best C.Ms. of BJP apart from Mr. Modi himself and Mr. Manohar Parikar at Goa. Although Raman Singh is able to maintain his hatrict but with a lession of people to check his governance for people’s welfare. BJP is looking forward to next year Loksabha with this boost.

But the most important and rather historic results is of Delhi and it gives us answers to many questions and gives various questions to be thought and answered. There are three dimension to evaluate the mandate of Delhi and all are equally relevant but I leave best for last. Starting from debacle of Congress to perform up to mark which left it to minimum number of 8 from its clear majority of last time and history of last three consecutive tenure under one and in many way undisputed and unblemished leadership of its C.M. Shiela Dixit except the shadow of arrogance reflected lately in her. It is relevant to think whether the visible development work of congress of last 15 years are shadowed under the bad image of central ruling Government or whether it was a sense of repeated and continuous stability lead to overlooking of the very voter base or failue of government to come up with innovative plans and policies (although innovative plans and policies are not seen in any party’s manifesto keeping in view the possibility of same for Delhi being Nation’s capital and diversity of its residing population). Nobody can ignore a wave of rage of people against the unruly price rise and issue of corruption which has been highlighted though series of movements and fortunate coincidence of Delhi being center stage of same in many ways. Hence, loss of Congress in Delhi in many way a historic defeat in view of emergence of new Political debut of a Party which claims its manifesto of Honest Politics and people’s faith in it due to the very process of the formation of this party which is closely been watched and felt by people’s of Delhi. People of Delhi closely seen the Anna Movement and efforts of Team Anna , attitude of Central Government and approach of most of the politicians to taking common man for-granted in hide of rules and regulation and lack of strong political will and thereafter forcible break of movement where Team Anna had only two option: First, fight from outside politics to reform very approach of politics or rule of politics and  Second, to get into politics and do or cause to do what they trying to get done by doing movements. Team Anna had to go through a crack where most of key associates of Anna decided to form Aam Aadmi Party(AAP: I  must say a clever named party with an appeal to common man itself). Although fight behind curtain between Anna and his most of team turned AAP which is cleverly handled by AAP knowing the fact that their one accusation of loose talk about Anna may cause permanent damage to them in spite of same sense of respect  shown on the part of Anna. Moving ahead AAP’s effort to gather people’s rage against the corruption and rusted system of political Governance and playing role of Opposition in Delhi in better way than BJP. Here, Nirbhaya’s case and failure of state Government in preventing such cases and weak remarks and attitude of  C.M. to Police officials shown the government in bad light and proved them weak not only in way of administration but also lack of strong political will. In these situation, Arvind Kejriwal has able to manage and maintain people’s rage against the abovesaid situation and good option of AAP before them. Here,  self poisoning approach of government which failed to understand or conveniently ignored people’s rage , worked in favour of AAP to show themselves in good light. Any case AAP able to give an honest option to voters who was tired with same system of politics and wanted to give a chance to somebody on whom they wanted to trust. Here, problem of BJP was that it was also working against the Government and channelizing the vote agaisnt the government but did not know the channelized vote may go either to  kitty of BJP or AAP which was applicable to AAP’s effort also but AAP had advantage of being new player with no records.

In view of abovesaid factors we see a result where BJP is emerged as largest political party but slightly behind the majority and AAP is just behind BJP. In view of AAP’s manifesto it will neither take or give support of either Congress or BJP and in deviation of this self imposed bar their credibility will be diluted. In this situation AAP has left with two option either go ahead with president Rule which has warning attached with it that it may work against when next assembly election will be held with Loksabha election and AAP will be held responsible for re-election, congress might be at gaining position or at-least stick to present number and BJP will have fair chance to say that it was mistake of AAP which burdened people with re-election. Congress is untouchable for any party at this time and may work as “Bhasmasur” for them. But it will be most interesting and relevant to watch how and what will AAP do in this situation. There is one possibility left with AAP that it supports BJP in floor test and cause to form BJP Government and enjoy its crucial role of working as a responsible and constructive opposition( which is a term alien in Indian Politics) but if AAP able to do the same, it will be able to gain people’s trust and will get experience with time. In this situation AAP on one hand wouldn't have to perform on its long list of promises and on other hand can keep check on BJP Government and will be a fair chance at next election. Although Clear mandate always works in favour of democracy but this mandate also gives a chance to political parties to work selflessly for people. If any such constructive decision taken by AAP and if agreeable to BJP, it will raise stature of AAP. But in case if AAP will be selfish and thinks that immediate RE-ELECTION will help it to reach majority, it may or may not be favourable to AAP. This is a time to show political maturity in favour of people of Delhi and these unanswered questions lies in future. Lets see what is in future of Delhi.                       

Politics and Camel Story : A view through Delhi Election Polls

Finally, Campaign of Delhi Assembly is over but politics and fate of politicians are not closed yet, still there are much scope for them(Though unacceptable to Election commission but very well within the established political custom ) till  last voter casts his vote on 4th December,2013.

This time every Delhiites have felt a wave of change but it's not merely because a strong anti-incumbency rage against the ruling Government in view of 'price rise' or 'corruption' ( thanks to forgettable approach of life of we "AAM JANTA") or not merely because Opposition Party at Center has projected a powerful leader (Subject to interpretation) as its Prime-Ministerial Candidate for upcoming Loksabha Election or  not merely because of Speculation of 'Third Front' ( void collaboration among  supremo of various political parties in context of their individual Dreams to be Prime Minister of Nation ( I seriously find no wrong with such Dreams) and their passion to stretch and be flexible enough to welcome politicians with similar dreams from every corner (Classical Example of Integrity in political Diversity) but more than above it's because of a newly born political party who claims its history  from "Jan-Andolan" ( No matter it has support of  its mentor or not , rather doubted by its mentor himself ) and who claims to be a game changer( They very well adhere to principle that to change a rule of a game , one has to first master it) with their only capital i.e. honesty( subject to interpretation) but also having laud vocal cord (which may go in favor or against also ).

Anyway focusing at present, its interesting to watch the Delhi Assembly Polls due to this third player and more interesting to see the results and its subsequent impact as a whole. During the last month, Delhiites have witnessed claim of 'Honesty' by this Third Player, Claim of 'History' to preserve Delhi in well experienced Hands by Ruling Party and Claim of Opposition Party taking a middle path and  digging at both ruling and newly aspired party. Delhiites did also saw revelation of the Honest Party by way of Sting Operation and subsequent clarification to come clean (in its own terms) and cover-up (in terms of other existing Players) and dirty game of accusation , cross-accusation and Re-accusation. Even the newly born Party also seems getting good points in terms of understanding the rule of game( without any damage to their only capital i.e Honesty : subject to interpretation).

However, without going in detail of the rule of game,  this third player/newly born Party( Who managed to catch eyeballs and got  place in reports of the Newyork Times  ) reminds me an old and famous  "which side the camel sits" story. I hope you remember the story , if not, just Google it.

 Although both existing players(Ruling and Opposition) are denying the very root and prospect of this third player but  even ready to laugh at other if other's share is bitten by this third player. In fact, it cannot be ruled out that which player is not in reach of this new player rather  both are within reach of this third player and it can harm either of them or both of them in substantive way( again substantive loss to other does not guarantee numbers in terms of sits for them.)

We have to  wait and watch for only couple of days and we will able to see which side this camel finally have sit.

 By Then my prayer will be with Delhiites.
